🧾 Direct Billing & Insurance Policy

As a courtesy to our clients, our clinic offers direct billing to many major insurance providers, including those connected with TELUS eClaims, Pacific Blue Cross, and others.

đź’ˇ How Direct Billing Works

  • We submit your claim electronically through JaneApp at the time of your appointment.
  • If successful, your insurer will pay us directly, and you will only be responsible for any co-pays or uncovered amounts.
  • If your insurer is not set up for direct billing, full payment is required at the time of service. We’ll provide a receipt for you to submit for reimbursement.

📌 What You Need to Know

  • Coverage is not guaranteed. It is your responsibility to know what your plan covers, including referral requirements, treatment limits, and exclusions.

  • We do not manage your policy. While we’re happy to submit on your behalf, we cannot access your plan details or communicate with your insurer on your behalf.

  • You are responsible for your account. If your insurer delays, declines, or partially covers a claim, the remaining balance is your responsibility.

  • No ICBC or WCB claims. We do not accept or submit claims for ICBC or WorkSafeBC (WCB) at this time.

⚠️ Other Important Policies

  • Pregnancy massage bookings: All pregnant clients must book a Pregnancy Massage session. Not all RMTs are trained in prenatal massage, and this ensures you’re matched with a qualified practitioner. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Credit card on file: A valid credit card (or credit/debit card) is required to book all appointments. Please contact the office if you have questions or concerns.

If you’re unsure about your coverage, we recommend calling your insurance provider prior to your appointment. Our front desk team is happy to assist with general billing questions.

Hello! I’m Victoria, I am one of the Registered Massage Therapist’s here at Wild Sage. I have been a massage therapist for about four years now since graduating in 2019, three of those years spent with Wild Sage. I typically use a moderate pressure for my treatments, but can go lighter or deeper as needed or requested. I hope to eventually be able to do visceral and cranio-sacral massage techniques, because in school I found those to be interesting. Sadly at this time, I do not treat Pregnancy & ICBC patients.

Outside of work I love to read, craft and go forest bathing. I started my own book club because I’d finish a book and would want to talk about it with someone that had also read it. I am an earth sign, so getting out into nature helps me recharge. I’m a big animal lover and have two cats at home. Thankfully I don’t have any allergies but am highly sensitive to perfumes and colognes.

Thank you for taking the time to read my bio! I look forward to treating you :)
